Before I capture your story, let me tell you a little bit about how I got here. Here's the unfiltered version...

Hey! I'm Piper, and I'm so happy that you're here. 

Born in Denver and raised in Boulder, I've been completely obsessed with nature and music from day one. My next great love came a little later during a semester abroad in Italy when I first picked up a film camera, and it changed the entire direction of my life. After graduating, I spent three months working in an HIV orphanage in Cape Town, and backpacked through East Africa documenting two of the most powerful things on earth: mother nature and human connection. From there came Nashville, LA, New York fashion weeks and Billboard shoots. But the mountains kept calling me back. So I came home to Colorado, continued this little dream of mine, and never looked back.

Eighteen years behind the lens has taught me that the best photos happen in the seemingly lost, in-between moments. Because that's where the magic lives. The tear on your mom's cheek when you walk up the aisle. Your family's embarrassing moves on the dance floor. The way you reach for your partner's hand without even thinking. Those are the moments worth documenting, and that's why I'll never stop chasing them.
